This hidden tang hunting knife making kit is called the “Ridge Hunter”. It is a USA Made damascus steel hidden tang knife blank that is hollow-ground and ready to build. This hidden tang knife kit model will make a great personal hunting or skinning knife for the DIY builder. It is expertly designed, well made, and comes with a matching stainless guard & handle pinstock. With a blade length of 4-7/16 inches and an overall length of 7-7/16 inches, this damascus hunting blade blank design is a perfect sheath size. Hollow ground on both sides, the Ridge Hunter’s blade is 15/16″ wide. This design features (1) .155″ through-hole for handle construction (stainless steel pinstock included). The tang hole can be modified with ease to work with larger pinstock, or with a threaded fastener. Please see our drills and taps sections for more options. This version of the Ridge Hunter is the combo kit. It comes with the Ridge Hunter Blade, guard, stainless steel pinstock, and a premium block of Bloodwood handle material to simplify the completion process.
